Homework for the holidays
The Christmas holidays have arrived! School has suggested that each class should have 2 or 3 pieces of work, which is what I will send home on Friday (maths tasks and a reading comprehension) If you want to do any extra work, please feel free to do so and you are able to bring this in when we return from the holidays.
Over the holidays it would be useful for your children to continue working on their handwriting. They can use their previous handwriting sheets to support them with their joins. Unfortunately, this is no the most exciting task, but one all children need to work on. You may want to ask your child to write a letter to a grandparent/cousin/ friend saying thank you for any gifts they have received. Or, additionally, you could ask your child to write about a picture.
Additional maths tasks:
Active learn:
Please note, this is only for those who wish to do extra tasks over the holidays! This is not expected to be completed.
Children should continue to read regularly in both English and Spanish.Friday, 13 December 2019

Each year we like to enjoy the celebrations of Christmas with the Infant children and give them memorable experiences of this time of year. This year we are visiting Divertilandia on the 10th December with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Here is a poster with a little more information. We are looking forward to a fun-filled morning!
